Interface UseAppVersionCheckOptions

Fetches the currently-deployed version (e.g. from a /version.json endpoint). Replaces the original's hardcoded fetch + Sentry.captureException on failure - report your own errors inside this callback if you want that. Return undefined on failure instead of throwing.

Returns the version this session was loaded with. Replaces a direct Pinia store read.

How often to poll, in milliseconds. Defaults to 300000 (5 minutes), matching the source copy.

Returns whether an update has already been flagged - skips redundant checks once true.

Called when a poll finds a version different from getLoadedVersion().

Records the version this session was loaded with, called once on initialize().
